Major League Baseball announced its 2014 award finalists on Tuesday, and two Cardinals players were among the finalists. Second baseman Kolten Wong is one of three finalists for the National League Rookie of the Year award, along with New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom and Cincinnati Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton. Also, team ace Adam Wainwright was named as a finalist for the NL Cy Young Award, along with Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Johnny Cueto of the Cincinnati Reds.
