PRESS RELEASE | The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight’s series opener with Colorado that they have activated right-handed pitcher Carlos Martínez (right oblique strain) from the 10-day disabled list and added newly-acquired left-handed reliever Chasen Shreve to the team’s 25-man active roster.
The team also announced today that right-handed pitcher Luke Gregerson (right shoulder impingement) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to July 26, and the option of left-handed pitcher Tyler Webb to Memphis following last night’s game.
