The time is finally here. New Chicago Cubs ace Jon Lester will throw the first pitch of the 2015 MLB Season to Cardinals third baseman Matt Carpenter at approximately 7:05 CT from the partially renovated historic Wrigley Field in Chicago. New Cubs manager Joe Maddon and the new look Cubs will be taking on Mike Matheny and the St. Louis Cardinals, as Lester will be opposed by ace Adam Wainwright, his battery mate Yadier Molina (who’s making his 11th consecutive Opening Day start, a Cardinals record), and the rest of the redbirds. Game coverage starts at 7 CT on ESPN2 and the Cardinals Radio Network, and first pitch is slated for 7:05. Here’s the starting lineups:
