Cardinals outfielder Peter Bourjos underwent surgery to address a hip impingement in October, according to Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com and Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. General Manager John Mozeliak said on Friday that the injury affected Bourjos throughout most of the second half of the 2014 season. Bourjos is fully expected to be ready for spring training.
