Cards place Mikolas on paternity list, recall Bowman

The Cardinals announced Wednesday afternoon that they’ve placed starter Miles Mikolas on the paternity list and recalled reliever Matt Bowman from AAA Memphis. Mikolas, an NL All-Star, missed the All-Star game on Wednesday after returning home to Jupiter, Florida, to be with his pregnant wife.
