The St. Louis Cardinals today [Thursday] announced that every 2016 regular season game will be televised locally or nationally as well as broadcast on the Cardinals Radio Network.
In their 23rd season with the team, FOX Sports Midwest is scheduled to carry 147 games in its sixth season as the exclusive local TV home of the Cardinals. FOX Sports Midwest will also continue to produce the Cardinals Live pre and postgame shows for every regular season telecast on the network. These shows originate from the network’s studio on the second level of Ballpark Village. Dan McLaughlin, Al Hrabosky, Ricky Horton and Tim McCarver will continue to call game action with Jim Hayes and Pat Parris hosting Cardinals Live. Additionally, eight-time Gold Glove winner and four-time All-Star Jim Edmonds will join McLaughlin in the booth to serve as analyst on select games on FOX Sports Midwest throughout the season.

In 2015, Cardinals telecasts on FOX Sports Midwest were the highest-rated television programming in prime time in St. Louis during the baseball season, achieving an all-time high 10.0 household rating according to Nielsen Media Research. It was the 16th straight year in which the Cardinals ranked among the top three teams in Major League Baseball. FOX Sports Midwest-produced Cardinals telecasts are shown in ten states and available in approximately four million homes.
Ten regular season games are currently scheduled to be carried exclusively as part of Major League Baseball’s national television packages with FOX (aired locally on KTVI), FS1 and ESPN. In addition, five games are yet to be scheduled but will be nationally televised or carried on FOX Sports Midwest. The schedule is subject to change based on future national television selections.
In addition to televised game coverage, KMOX (AM 1120), the team’s flagship radio station, and most stations on the Cardinals Radio Network, will carry every regular season game. Broadcasters Mike Shannon and John Rooney will again share all the Cardinals highlights on the radio at home. This season Ricky Horton will join John Rooney to call all Cardinals road games. Mike Claiborne, Tom Ackerman, Chris Hrabe and Kyle McClellan will also assist with broadcasts and pre- and post-game coverage on KMOX. This year marks KMOX’s sixth season returning as the flagship station and 56th year overall. The Cardinals radio network consists of 148 radio stations in nine Midwest states and is one of the largest radio networks in MLB.
