The Cardinals announced Wednesday afternoon that they’ve placed starter Miles Mikolas on the paternity list and recalled reliever Matt Bowman from AAA Memphis.

Mikolas, an NL All-Star, missed the All-Star game on Wednesday after returning home to Jupiter, Florida, to be with his pregnant wife.
