The Cardinals have stayed in-house in replacing Scouting Director Dan Kantrovitz, who recently left to become the Assistant General Manager for the Oakland Athletics. The organization announced last week that they have promoted Director of Baseball Development Chris Correa to fill the position. Correa joined the Cardinals back in 2009 and began working in statistical analysis before he was named Manager of Baseball Development in 2012 before being named the director last season.
