Bench coach Mike Aldrete has left the St. Louis Cardinals and will assume the same role with the Oakland Athletics in 2015. Aldrete grew up in the area and will get a chance to reunite with manager Bob Melvin, who Aldrete worked with on the staffs in Arizona and Seattle.
