Backed by an eleventh consecutive quality start by starting pitchers from Adam Wainwright, the long ball from Matt Carpenter and Matt Holliday, and a scoreless (albeit adventurous) ninth inning from Trevor Rosenthal, the Cardinals escaped with another one run victory in a 4-3 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field Tuesday night in the second game of a three game set.
