Remaining NLDS schedule released; Maddon announces Cubs’ starters

After the start times for the first two games of the series were released earlier this week, Major League Baseball announced the entire schedule for the National League Division Series between the Cardinals and Cubs on Thursday afternoon. The two teams will play late-afternoon games on Friday and Saturday in St. Louis, followed by day games the rest of the series, unless the other NL series (between the Mets and Dodgers) is over, in which case the Cards-Cubs would move into prime time.

MADDON ANNOUNCES CUBS’ STARTERS:

On Thursday, Cubs manager Joe Maddon announced that Game 1 starter Jon Lester will be followed by Kyle Hendricks and Jake Arrieta in Games 2 and 3, respectively. Jason Hammel is likely to come out of the bullpen to start Game 4 if necessary.
